Frequently Asked Questions
We require payments before the 5th of every month.
If you have weekly or biweekly rent, you will need to speak to the property manager to know when to turn in your rent.
Please bring a valid ID, your last two paycheck stubs (or an awards letter proving your income), and the $40 (non-refundable) application fee for any adults over the age of 18. If you are filling out an application online, we will still need this information. You can either attach a picture of your ID and pay stubs to your application online or it can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
NOTE: Every adult over the age of 18 will need to fill out an application.
As soon as your application has been reviewed and chosen, you will turn in your rent deposit.
You will then transfer power and water into your name (within 48 hours).
Once power and water have been transferred into your name, you will come to our office, sign the lease, and pay your first month’s rent.
Then you will be able to move into your new home!
We do a background check, a tenant history check, and we verify your credit payment history.
NOTE: Your application is only good for 30 days after you have submitted. We do our best to approve applications as quickly as we can in order to give you the greatest chance at properties you are interested in.
Depending on the property, we will have a key available for you to check out.
We require $20 refundable key deposit. You will then bring the key back (after the allotted time) and get the $20 back!
We will also make a copy of your license and fill out a short questionnaire in order to check out the key.
NOTE: Due to a high volume of interested renters, we do ask that you keep your visit to the property 25 minutes or less.
Depending on the property, the tenant will pay all utilities. In some of our properties, we cut grass and pay for water.
You will need to ask about the property you are interested in when you bring your information for the application.
We keep our website as up-to-date as is possible. When a property has a security deposit down, we remove that property from the site.
As soon as we receive a property and we have pictures, it is uploaded.
You can either come to our office to fill out an application or you may do one online.
Our office is located at 280 Gossett Road in Spartanburg, SC.
